Maxx-Link Vs strapping?

like the topic says, who has gained in loudness by going with an maxx-link vs strapping? people keep telling me that using the maxx-link and actually linking the amps would yeild more power and efficency vs the traditionally strapping? can anyone vouch for this?

Never gained to be honest, but when you run 6 amps it sure makes it nice to have a maxxlink.

so lets say i wanted too use 3 amps for 4 subs. so would an maxxlink make it possible for me to run 3 amps strapped to 4 subs?

I don't think so, prolly better stick with 2 or 4 amps for 4 subs depending on equipment

yes you probally will if u can keep the voltage. but he was thinking that you had the 3500s strapped already, and wanted to see if u would gain by strapping the amps with an maxx-link

you can strap any number of amps with the mlx-100 and yes you will definately gain, it has a 9-18 volt line driver built in!

maxxlink needs amps in pairs, go with rockford fosgate they make it SIMPLE to strap together honestly i read the manual for like 2 minutes and i never have to again check out the power series
