Maximum Amp Sensitivity?

Does this have to do with amp efficiency? What would be the difference between an amp with a max sensitivity of 140mv compared to one with 260? or does this spec not matter?

im not positve so dont quote me on this, and it will give you a free bump for more answers, but i dont think it matters, i believe it is just for your HU and the pre-amp voltage on the rca's. but im not for sure, but i think it doesnt matter. can anyone tell me if im right or wrong? bump

BB's correct.

Sensitivity just defines the range of signal input the amp can be adjusted for. Not a factor in efficiency.
