alright I installed 2 6x9's in my dash cover and it completely ****ed up my sub space so now i can only fit about 2 10's or 1 12?

what could i go with to get my system pretty loud?

i have 5 1/4" pioneer premier components up front and the new 6x9's on the cover for the rear

take the 6x9's out of the rear... do a single 12" or 15" sub up port up (port on passenger side)

my car came stock with 2 6 1/2 front speakers thats all

and i dont want to take out the speakers i cut holes for them in my cover

so any new ideas???

brands of subs 2 10's or 1 12?

dont use the cover... or pick up another one at a junkyard for like $10

i have never even put mine in... cant stand it

anyways, if you want to "maximize SPL" a single 10" or 12" for that matter is not what you shold be looking for

Edit: and are you sure yours came with stock 6.5"s... i would think they were 5.25"s

stock everything

but getting saving up for a full gsr swap with boost around christmas time

im not trying to weigh my car down much either

right now the 1 10 isnt even close to being loud enough

i like it when my ears "hurt". so im guessing a single 12" would be pretty loud

loud and lightweight normally dont go together without alot of money...

what does your setup currently consist of (brands, models?)

front 5 1/4 pioneer premier components

rear 6x9 PPI carbon fiber cones (bought then yesterday)

sub 10" JL w3

Amp cheap *** no name i got for free

deck cheap-o 1600mp but buying an indash

well actually weight inside a problem

so any suggestions???

2x 10" btl's off a 4kw would be pretty SPL based if you ask me..

Just my opinion though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

wtf...there is a difference between maximize, and maximum...obviously he stating, he wants to get as loud as he can with the equipment hes gonna buy. i doubt hes aiming for world records...

and why even post if all you guys are going to post is "i know secrets about XXXX car but i cant tell you". as much as i like termpro forums, its exactly what the competitors do over there.

"power master d3100 VS nsb 90. i did the test who wants results? oh you do? too bad, do the test yourself, but i know which one is better"

wow, thanks

first off, ive found that a little bit of weight in the back can keep the *** end from coming out during a hard turn

im sure you could get the sound you want out of another single 10" if you spent enough money, but using bigger subs will just be easier to make it loud
