Any questions, comments, just ask. I'll be happy to answer anything, explain stuff out, suggest enclosure sizes, etc.

I do have more pics of everything I have listed here in case you wanted more angles, extremely high res, etc.

Most everything has its original box, parts, and documentation. The tweeters are Pacparts/PartStore pieces, so there's almost no mounting hardware. Another member kindly gave me a pair of mounting cups for the Type-X tweeters, and I did find the Alpine logo for the other F#1 tweeter if you want it. Those mounting cups are hard to find.

Everything is used but in great condition with little or no markings. I do tend to take good care of my stuff.

I am somewhat flexable on pricing for most of the stuff as it is used. You can haggle some, but whoever pays listed price first gets it.

That will be a //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif on the $250. Sorry, I've passed up $325 several times on this unit. I am dead firm on $350, or I will not sell it. I'll tell you this. If this got stolen from my car(when I was still using it) I would have bought another one of these before I bought Pioneer's P880PRS. I bought this over the DEH-P960MP(P880PRS didn't exist yet). The JVC is now discontued along with quite a few other EXAD units(sadly, EXAD is some of their best stuff, wish they'd expand the line). There are a few sites still selling the KD-AR8500 unit in the range of $500, but that's about it.

Update:

Type-X tweeters: Sold

AA Poly mids: still up for sale

Bump for a very badass HU, the EXAD series from JVC was very nice and underrated comparied to its competition in the market. I have a EXAD JVC HU myself in my car ( KD-LHX550 touchscreen ) and its wonderful.

I so wish they would just make their entire line EXAD level, just awesome stuff. I'm sort of on the fence for selling it. A PPI DCX-730 is on it's way to me now. I'm either going to stick with the Ural Concert HU or swap back in the JVC and pair it with the DCX-730. I've got to play with it and see how I want to work all the features out. The Ural + DCX-730 is sort of overkill. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

They really are far underrated HUs. I bought it over Pioneer's DEH-P960MP and would buy another over their currently well loved P880PRS. It ***** that JVC discontinued that model alone with several others of their EXAD line.

I don't have a lot of pics of the PG sub. It's not exactly a supermodel of subs. It's more like that burly looking man over in the corner that could bench you one-handed.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Specs(from manufacture documentation + BassBox Pro 6):

Mechanical Parameters:

Fs: 22Hz

Qms: 5.76

Vas: 94.05

Cms: .284mm/N

Mms: 178.3g

Rms: 4.425kg/s

Xmax: 13.5mm

Xmech: 20.25mm

Dia: 24.8cm

Sd: 483 cm^2

Electrical Parameters:

Qes: .61

Re: 3.7ohms

Z: 4ohms

BL: 12.43N/A

Pe: 500watts

Electromechanical Parameters:

Qts: .55

no: 0.158

1-W SPL: 84dB

2.8-V SPL: 87.48dB

Now take a lot of the numbers with a grain of salt. The core ones were provided by PG in their documentations, but the rest is guessed by BassBox as I had it calculate the rest(which are derived numerically off the main ones anyways). The only parameter I don't know is Le. I've never been able to find it anywhere. The above is some provided and some derived numbers, but as many provided and as accurate as I could ever find for the sub.

Modelling up the sub, it's geared for sealed enclosures, well specifically because the ideal (Q = 0.707) box size is 5 cu.ft. F3 is down a tad below 30Hz with this configuration which is **** good for a sealed sub that's not 15" or 18" in size. The other nice part with this sub is it's not too influenced by smaller enclosures. This means you don't really need a 5 cu.ft. box to get low. It'll still going to get below 30Hz in a box less than half that size, and frequency response doesn't get mushed and peaky either until you get quite small(like under 1 cu.ft.). The greatest attribute of this sub is its ability to play very low and not need a really large box(although not a bad thing) to do so.

I don't have much need for trades specifically. Besides swapping around/trying a few parts, I'm pretty much set on hardware.

I'm fiddling with my HU/Processor choices

I've got my Seas Alum. neo/Vifa TG9/Extremis 3-way worked out

I'm running my Pioneer PRS 12" sub

and I've got 8x75w from my two Cadence Z4000s + 1x400w from my X400.1 Xenon amp available at my disposal, some of which will be bridged to get 300w for the Extremis woofers.

My main goal of this sale is to simply get rid of the excess equipment lying around that I won't be using.

The excess tweeters are already gone, the excess woofers are going bye bye eventually, as are the excess subs, plus whatever HU/process stuff I won't be using once I figure that out.

****..PM'ed you on the tweeters and sold within less then 2 days. Sigh...I wish I can get those tweeters. I do anything for one, since I blew one of mine. I tried to order some off this site but they said they ran out. **** =(

http://www.partstore.com Depending on the fluctuation of the DIY guys buying them, they may or may not be on backorder...for however long. If you didn't mind a large format tweeter, you could just buy the Vifa XT19 tweeter it's built from. Back in the day, the F#1 drivers were also available at ridiculously low prices. Nothing like getting Scanspeak Revolator drivers for less than half the price of anywhere else. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif A certain someone found out quick and put a stop to that though. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif (kinda shows the level of markup on such things...)

20% price reduction on the subs. I want to see these gone. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/blush.gif.99bc659ee2012b7d826165e26fb5eebe.gif

TC Sounds TC2+ DVC 12" : $125 --> $100

PG RSD12d DVC 12" : $105 --> $85
