Matts D300hc broken?

Baught a mmats d300hc from ebay a few months ago tested it on my DD 3515 hi notes wans't loud but low notes on certain songs like (The Blow) would be loud but that is with the gain all the way up. Barley any difference in loudness to me when gain is in the middle to all the way up. Protect light does not and power light is on like everything is supposed to be; my causins kicker kx 1200.1 wired at 2 ohms with gain almost half way sounds 2x louder than my matts. Is my amp somehow broken? and if you guys think so where would be a good place to get it fixed at? Trying to save money since this amp costed me 375$ shipped.

I am pretty sure Mmats is not going to be helpfull in fixing your amp - They have been known to be pricks in this matters without retail autherized purchases

^^^^^^^ sad to say.. but that is so very true. they do make some nice $hit tho. i have a few of the dhcx2200.1 and 0.5's... this may sound DUMB.. the black ones are like u describe ToRn.. gain has 2 be like all the way up. the white ones on the other hand.. anything close to halfway is way to much.. call john at mmats, i've never had any trouble getting something fixed and its usually back within 2 weeks from the day i shipped it
