I just got 2 12'' Quantum Audio subwoofers and the Quantum Audio 2000d amp. After installation, i played the music for about 18~20 min. and the big fuze under my hood that goes to the amp blew. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif. Does anyone know why it would blow, and how to aviod blowing it again? All help is appreciated.

^^^ beat me to it

the fusing total in your amp is 100 amps, the fuse in the power line needs to be the same size or bigger than the fusing in the amp. The power line fuse needs to be at least 100 amps.

Where is the best place to get 100amp fuse? Can i get one from auto zone or pep boys?

looks like the amp itself has 2x 50a so i'd say the 60a fuse is too small. i really doubt it does 1krms so i think the 4ga is fine. bump up to a 100a inline

The two subs are dual 4ohm subs so i wired them parallel so i would have a 1ohm load. this amp is 1ohm stable at 2000watts
