srry, me no understand b/c me 2 stoopid b/c of all pot i smoked. . . .me just kidding, pots great and should not be outlawed. only thing really wrong with it is the fact that its a gateway drug (which none of us weed-smokers can deny, if your around pot then ur around other stuff too, u become curious). it shouldnt be illegal to smoke pot, but then again, alot of things shouldnt be illegal. **** it, its close-minded people arguing with close-minded people, and theres no solution to this arguement. ever. I think it boils down to the simple issue of freedom. If you live in a country like the US or Canada, both of which profess to be liberal democracies(and have constitutions that convey this) there is no reason why it should be illegal. They say your rights end where another person's begin, and I completely agree. You can't kill or physically harm someone, nor can you damage or take their property. That's what law should be based on.

Someone smoking marijuana(or even growing some plants) ESPECIALLY in their own home is none of the governments, or anyone elses business. It does not cause any harm to anyone else, and property is not affected.

Prohibition is completely contrary to the ideas of freedom both our countries are supposed to be based on, and it's a shame that it's continued for this long.

Well, your wrong. If thats the case, then isnt alcohol the same. Alcohol is at parties and shit, along with weed and other drugs.....does that make alcohol a gateway drug?

Truth is, marijuana isnt bad for you at all. It may have a light effect on your lungs, but nothing too harmful. The gateway that people always talk about is a load of bull shit. They are just using weed as an excuse for their own lack of self control.

And yeah believe me I know that marijuana isn't bad for you, we're fellow-stoners. I just being realistic. I mean before I started smoking pot I would have never thought of trying pharms, rolling, etc. etc. I've been exposed to all of that being around my friends, and I'm open to experimenting with other drugs, so yeah, I let the gateway effect take hold of me.

If you think that was because of pot, and not your own fault, then you are a very weak-minded person. If anything, alcohol is the gateway drung. I guarantee just about everyone you ask will they they drank before trying anything else........
