But it gives much needed confidence. You have to admit that if Eli did bad and the defence/running game bailed him out, he wouldn't be looking forward to much to a game against Dallas.

Agreed, Eli and the Giants have a lot of confidence and momentum coming into this game, should be a lot of fun to watch. I don't understand everyone's dichotomous thinking when it comes to players and teams. If someone has a bad game, or makes a bad play then people **** them to hell and declare they aren't any good. It is like reading a bunch of Skip Bayless comments (AKA the biggest hater out there on an ESPN show).

I think Peyton has thrown into double coverage and still hit his receiver a lot of times.

For example, this play we are taking about now. Clark couldn't come down with it.

It was a high pass was it not? I thought I saw him do a little hop and extend one of his arms almost fully to catch it yet he couldn't get the right angle and it flew off?

Please. I'd be embarrased. Colt's had Manning, Clark, Wayne (save for one or two pays when he got laid out), Addai, Bob Sanders. Colts got beat by a second string O.

Bob Sanders and Addai were both a little beaten up. Tomlinson also has a great backup in Michael Turner, and Gates played through the pain as well.

They were simply outplayed. If you cannot except the fact that skill positions are overshadowed completely by the play of the less-mentionable players, then you have a flawed perspective of the game.
