making a test CD

Ok, after listening to the same songs in different cars, I have found a few flaws in my approach to building a good car audio setup (Sound Quality wise). I'm curious on what songs some of you would pick if you had to demonstrate your setup to your peers. I like:

Bone Thugs N Harmony - Dayz of our Lives

That song is awesome in my opinion. If demonstrates both high and low bass, and some nice mids as well. It can also show off your tweeters. The bad thing is, if your imaging is off you'll notice that really well.

Other notable mentions would be:

Dave Matthews band

Marvin Gaye - Got to give it up (you can find this on the Charlie's Angel's soundtrack)

Jamiroquai

Aaliyah

What songs would you choose? Think of it as a test CD, something you could use if you were shopping around for car audio equipment.

a lot of master p stuff. I like the songs that have a lead up, like "make em say ughhh", or "hook it up". You wait and wait, then BOOM. I think the suspense adds to the impression.

"Stinkfist" - first track off "Aenima" by Tool.

Drops in soooo hard. Great SQ cd, too.

Old school I like to put on "Tom Sawyer" by Rush. Another great SQ song - and band.

Anything by Dream Theater works too. "Awake" is a good CD, and the first track has a great drum intro.

If you just want straight bass- get lil john " BIA BIA" " I dont give a ****" " Put Yo Hood Up"

Personally i like Break Ya Neck by Busta Ryhmes, i just love that song, even if it doesnt have as much bass as it sounds like

Some rock songs have bass but i cant really listen to rock songs while "bumpin", i dont know, i just dont like it, id rather have rap
