Anybody's system ever make their chest feel kinda weird make you wanna cough a little bit especially on the low low loooow tones? I thought i was weird when that happend to me but I was taken my friend home from work i put on some bass mekanic cranked it and she started coughing a little bit, and she said it was because of the bass giving her a weird feeling in her chest. Anyone ever had this happen.

this is more around for the 135+ club

Also what are some other things really louds systems will do to you guys? Ive heards things such as making your nose hair tickle:) haha

I dont start to feel uncomfortable until around 154 or so...It stops getting fun at 158, and 160+ is painful, and I do that ever again.

135 shouldnt even affect you...unless you have sensitive ears or health problems...The average person should start feeling discomfort around 145 or so.

i felt like i was going to fall apart when i heard this....

thats 8 12" RE XXXs and 10,000 watts... iirc, did around 155dbs at 30hz!

haha ok my bad on the 135.... I havent had the privelage to hear past 155+

Maybe i should move to florids:).

But yea i garuntee when i was talken about the coughing it was well past 135. I was just given that as a minmum although i guess i should have made it higher

i've sat in 155+ while it was being metered. actually it was 1999 so i can't say for sure how accurate the meter was but it hurt. i had hearing protection, but it move everything good. wasn't comfortable at all.

"GOD **** bone rattling right there"

i know a guy with a van that has 16 12" SSDs on 8 kx1200.1s in a sealed diamond and its painfully loud. id say hes 153-154 on music at a rough guess... when it catches you off guard i almost started coughing

I have to say after hearing my car which Id assume is above 145 on music it doesnt seem to loud anymore to me. When people ride with me they like the volume on 13/40 yet I like mine almost full blast lol.
Yea when i got my first "real" system the low tones would hurt my ears but after awhile it just stopped hurting but sometimes i forget about the passenger in my car who is not used to it haha, so yeah i keep my down sometimes with ppl who are not used to it.
