Look at your skill sets, and go from there. Craigslist always has people posting gigs and stuff, and it's usually a quick way to get some scratch together in a hurry. I'm good at web design and social media marketing, so there is always work to be found on there since people just don't want to learn this ****.

Craigslist is always an option to sell stuff, but people try to low ball you any chance they get. I sold a car for $300 on there, that needed a $75 part, and people STILL came in there trying to offer me $100! Know what your stuffs worth, always aim a little higher when you price it so you can account for the hagglers, and don't accept any less than your bottom line amount that you thought of earlier.

I don't know you, or what you are good at, but there's always things like fiverr and elance. Some people offer jobs just for you to go to their website and say nice things, or make 20 Facebook/Myspace accounts and Like their stuff.

While my house was being built, they were grading everything and under the soil was really pretty rocks. Huge chu ncks of granite, slate, and a ton of natural marble stones. I cleaned it all up and made a pondless waterfall in my back yard. It was easy and youtube has all the info u need. Heres the kicker. Companies charge netween 5k-10k for a waterfall. do it urself kits range from 1100-5k. I bought the equipment offline that was needed, and had the rocks fro fre!!!! I did it for less than 400 bucks. Now i do it for my neighbors and people in my city that want a pondless waterfall.. Its a weekend project for sure. But im charging abotu 3k per install.. Theyre getting the same work for about 3/5ths of teh cost. If ur any good at landscaping, i would suggest doing waterfalls. Think about it. u can prolly find rocks somewherer in ur area for free, or for little cost. Spend 3 hundered or less. make 3 grand. Makes me happy every time the phone rings about an install

Good idea. If you look on Craigslist, under free stuff, a lot of times people throw away rocks and stuff like that if you come haul it off. Landscaping companies that do in depth designs will usually buy them off of you for a good profit.

Locally, the landscaping company I worked for had a partnership with a rock company that would give a discount on rocks and stuff, but we also would pay people locally if they had decent waterfall rocks (big boulders and such).

Always easy to make money when you come in and do something that is easy, doesn't cost you much, and you can do it for cheaper than everyone else and STILL make a profit.
