Majority Of U.S. States Join Sovereignty Movement, Assert 10th Amendment Rights

With the economy collapsing, it is a very real and immediate danger that the federal government can turn into a completely criminal and fascist government. They'll put foreign troops on their streets. They'll grab people to put in forced labor or concentration camps if they are unemployed or protesting. They'll conduct experiments on these prisoners.
Holy leaping logic Batman! A slumping economy leads to being rounded up and having experiments done on you.

The author is batshit crazy!

I stopped reading there. Why do people put stock in this kind of dribble?

i dont think you really understand what fascism is. Fascism implies nationalist dictatorship, bordering on totalitarianism. Its a bogeyman word people like to throw around to get attention (similar to Nazi analogies). You seem to be thinking of an oligarchy.
.....

actually you might favor the more conspiratorial corporatocracy
"The word ‘Fascism’ is almost entirely meaningless. In conversation, of course, it is used even more wildly than in print. I have heard it applied to farmers, shopkeepers, Social Credit, corporal punishment, fox-hunting, bull-fighting, the 1922 Committee, the 1941 Committee, Kipling, Gandhi, Chiang Kai-Shek, homosexuality, Priestley's broadcasts, Youth Hostels, astrology, women, dogs and I do not know what else... almost any English person would accept ‘bully’ as a synonym for ‘Fascist’."

– George Orwell, What is Fascism?. 1944.

If you want an honest insight to this watch "America: Freedom to Fascism" on Youtube. It shows exactly how the federal reserve among others are doing this.
Keep in mind this is an older video. Some of the stuff they were warning about. Like this economy we have now is already coming to pass.

You might find it interesting to see how illegal our tax system is as well.
I find it even more interesting when propaganda is taken at face value with no real logical thought by people.

Funny how they were calling the Amero a conspiracy a few years ago, isn't it?
No, I heard bits and pieces on CNBC.

From a finance perspective, it allows for arbitrage as we can't trust the Mexican govt to control their monetary policy.

From a nationalistic perspective, we lose our identity.

Sounds like National Socialism, eh? That's what the word Nazi stood for you know...

What do you personally know about how the Amero will be controlled?

Not much...it was just a talking head, but since it was on CNBC (which is respected by the finance community) I give it some credence. I wouldn't mind so much if it was just us and Canada, due to the similarities in our economy...

I just don't see it panning out due to the nationalism people associate with currency. In the EU, people travel place to place and speak several languages. Most Americans never leave their home state.

I would assume we'd model the Amero similar to the EU. The problem is not gathering dollars and replacing them with Ameros. The issue is conducting monetary policy to limit arbitrage and speculative attack. Currency traders are not concerned with the policy effects of a speculative attack; only if they can make a buck

So are you into trading currencies too? What's the deal with the dollar being worth more than the pound? You think the EU will go under before we do?

I've got a meeting right now, but I'll be back on here in a little while.

If you're still here Flip, you should join back in with me. Not to argue with you or start shit, but I've a few issues to talk about you may find very interesting.

No...I just have some knowledge of the mechanics.

I don't get on this forum as much as I used too.

Looks like dollar/GBP for a while...it doesn't mean anything. However the L is appreciating against the $.

I am not sure about the EU. I think the structure will stay in place while it dies from within....meaning it will die before people know it is dead...like the US
