Major light issues!

my buddies pt cruiser

pioneer hu, infinity mono block (not sure the specs, but its not a lot) and 2 jl w0 10s

problem

the system had been in for about 6 months issue free, checked all voltages and its not dropping under 13.5 when hitting at idle, this morning none of his lights would come on (head/tail/dash) and his door locks arnt working, i have checked all of the grounds that i can get to and they are all fine, will be tearing into the dash tomorrow to get a better look at any possible wires,

my question is does any one have any idea where would be a good place to start looking to see if there are any bad wires explaining the problem or if there is anything else that it might be

well #1 its a PT

and #2 have you checked fuse pannels both in the car and under the hood?

im well aware of the first issue, it was his choice not mine, ive been telling him to get rid of the **** thing since he got it, its such a pain in the *** to work on.

and i checked all of the fuses, havnt checked the relays was going to do that tomorrow before i take the dash apart,

um.. the battery is what all those share in common..

Edit: figured the car wasn't starting reread. follow the wiring.. its that simple.. follow the headlight wiring to the battery.. figure out where the power stops..

im kinda leaning to a toasted relay, or a wire that has been rubbed through and is grounding out on some part of the framework under the dash.
