I have heard both a few times. For the money mags are a better deal, w7's just too much. They both shine IMO

I see all the W7 hating going on........DIDNT this sub win a huge 12" comparison test last year????? It was tested for SQ and SPL and basically won every category.......am I missing something here????

Mags aren't exactly cheap. You know what I mean. I am pretty sure the 12s can be had for around the same price now, JL or SI Mag.

since i hate you, i will say go with some CVX's.. the 200 dollar models. those will suit your needs perfectly.

My boy has a CVX in my old box I used to have my TI in and the TI was much louder. Now the TI sopposed to be on the same level as the Q and Mag. O yea is car has more port into the car as well, and is using one my sundowns 1500s on it.

depends on the kind of sound you want. the mag sounds cleaner and note shifts are more defined, but the W7 will run away from it when it comes to nasty loud bass.

flip a coin, both will sound good and both will get pretty loud. The only reason i would take a w7 is if i need to save room. If not mags for me since there cheaper, used mag for 350
