Magnum D2 's came! Pics... Mini-review

Well the Fed-ex guy paid me a visit and brought my 2 D2's..

Didn't take long, Pay-Paled Nick on 10/7 and recieved on 10/10.

I'm in Atlanta so it's not too far.

The sub is heavy, 30 lbs and seems really solid. Giant surrond on these boys. The magnet is huge and it almost seems like a shame to mount these non-inverted. I'm toying with the idea of doing one inverted and one not.

Communication was great and they e-mailed me the tracking numbers after shipped.

Both boxes have a date on them 1 written in black marker, other in pen, as to when they were broken in, I have dates 9-13 and 9-14

So these haven't been sittin around too long.

So far I am really excited and can't wait until Dustin finishes my box and I can hear these things. Both will be getting 500W, 2 cubes each tuned to 33 hz.

We personally write on every box once the drivers are broken-in. Every single drivers gets our personal attention before it leaves the shop.

BTW: They are 32 lbs on a digital scale.

Haha, yeah the K2 isn't very in-home stereo worthy. That thing will shut itself off if it doesn't see a fairly decent signal for about 2 minutes. When you're watching movies with the K2 going on the subs it really blows...amp cuts off, then back on, then back off. Your soundstage depth goes from good to so-so because your bass disapears so often. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
