Magnets next to each other bad? Next tv?

So I have a old tv in the garage and I set subs a few feet away.. I know it draws color from the tv but is it bad for the subs?? Can anything be bad for magnets such as drain them? Might be stupid question but curious...

a tv will not hurt your subs. dont think another magnet would affect one either. only thing i know that weakens a magnet is time. over time magnets get weaker.

a demagnitizer does as well

Can use a demagnitizer to "drain" the motor.

They will normaly out last your vehicle though.

lol.. to slow old man.. heh.. now then i know when doing sub work you demagnitize it and remagnitize it.. how does all that work?

Nothing. Might have a slight movement. But won't do nothing amazing.

I know a competitor that got some subs from a company that weren't properly magnatized and he was pretty upset. Luckily he was fortunate enough to have a gauss gauge. Or I'm sure he would have been screwed.

With a non magnetized motor, the speaker would not operate, at all, obviously.

Sitting a magnet near a tube-type television will hurt the tv, but not the speaker/magnet.

Placing speakers close together will also not hurt them, at all.
