I was woundering if the cover that came on me adire shivas would effect the proformance at all I probably missunderstood but I thought I saw something about this

Yeah, it's been discussed quite a few times.

The magnet cover is strictly for protecting it from scratches during shipping. Leaving it on will restrict air from moving in and out of the motor.

Does it have a vented pole?

Yep. Its strictly made for protecting it before installation. Some have reported damage to the woofer by not removing it when its installed.
