Okay all, I'm having trouble getting my newest set of sleights down firm, so I wanted to see if you could help me. If you're going to come in here to ask me how to do the tricks, don't bother. Also, I apologize for the shitty recording and me constantly moving around since my Crapnon camcorder's screen doesn't rotate enough for me to see where I am in the frame. If you know magic, then you'll know what these two are and what they are supposed to look like, so I won't bother with the names. Anyway, these two are somehow escaping me for some reason. I just can't get them smooth and realistic enough, let alone, my SC is far too slow. Help me improve!

doesnt really look like your too comfortable with cards...just walk around non stop with a deck in your hands doing everything you can with them for a couple years...

With basically anything else, I can handle them fluid as water. The problem is getting into and out of tenkai without either showing the card, AND making it look like there's nothing there. Plus, I was nervous as **** since I basically learned these techniques (tenkai, bertram, erdnase CC) this morning, so I didn't expect to be ricky jay.

lol, just keep at it... I used to work at a casino in the pits and met quite a few dealers who were awesome with cards...ill go out on a limp and assume you liked the movie shade, i could watch the extras on that dvd 100 times and a couple of those tricks ill never understand

More likely, you can clearly tell that I'm doing something, but not that I'm trying to palm a card, since that is like the last part. I need to get it so that by the time you realize what my hand looks like, the card has already changed. That's my goal for the summer. Shit like ambitious card and two card monte are good tricks to know (essential really) and perform, but stealthy sleights can enhance any one of those tricks.

Plus, I absolutely hate "magicians" like criss angel who don't know how to do any real shit, and have to pay off everyone who is on the street at the time. When people compare him to people like david blaine, copperfield or cassidy, it's hilarious to see their faces after I show them how he "levitates" or "drinks" needles.

wow the timing on this couldn't be better. me and my girlfriend have been arguing for like two days because she thinks criss angel can really levitate, because she doesn't understand how he could levitate over a tree with people standing there. how does he do it? i said camera tricks and angles of the viewers, but she just says "my friend has seen him levitate three times and two of them he was in the middle of a circle"

i just keep telling her "he calls himself an illusionist for a reason, because it's an illusion. just because i don't know how he does it means it's real"

This is his best illusion, however, it still isn't good enough. He pays off everyone that sees him do his tricks that are truly impossible (basically any illusionist does this anyway though). The true magic is that he lives his life to make it seem as though he can do the things. He uses expensive harnesses and high tensile wires, but if he didn't look devilish and sound creepy, people would automatically assume that and dismiss him.

I can do a Balducci levitation quite well, which is something anyone can do standing in a room. Angel, however, doesn't like this, so instead he reverts to this method, which he also reveals:
