right now im barely squeezing two 15 cvr in my trunk. ive been seeing that mag's are pretty good subs. i was wonderin what size mags and how many would outperform my cvr's (my cvr's r sealed.). and lets just say everything is in the ideal box and ideal amp.

I dont have experince with them but from what i hear they are amazing. I would say yes you could out do those CVR's. tune the box to like 28hz. I hear they dont need alot of power to get them sounding real nice either.

yeah, mags are way out of the cvrs league. I have no idea how much cvrs cost though. Someone want to fill me in.
215 for two 15's to my door..cheap //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

How much room and power do you have?

Lastly, you say SQ but 2 15" really isnt for SQ. More SPL.

1 or 2 12" with 1kw each sealed 1.5 per sub would and will shake your car apart. 1 15" would pretty much do the same. 2 15" sealed and you are a crazy mofo. Port the 2 12" and I guarantee that your **** ears will ring.

SQ wise the VRs cant touch the Mags //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I can't even believe you are contemplating putting one within the same sentence as the other for a comparison. The Mags are way out of the league with the CVRs. You're asking something like a Walmart SPL sub to a XXX. Mag would rip it apart in SQ or SPL. I would say on the mic one 12 Mag would be able to outdo a 15 CVR considering on a mic my one Mag 12 outdid a 160.v2. Port one 12 Mag, 2cu.ft tuned to 28hz with about 1k rms and you'll be fine probably match your two 15s sealed. If you want one 15 I'd seal it in a 2.4cu ft box with 1200rms and buy some earplugs.
