The box doesn't need to be bigger. One thing you could do is get an amp that will fully power the sub. Another 500rms would probably sound better. Other than that just make sure the enclosure is well built.

I wasn't sayin i needed a bigger box.....i was just saying with the space i have to work with i doubt i'll get much louder with 1 12.....highly doubt any more power to this sub will be audible, and the enclosure is well well built.

Well that amp is probably putting out about 600 watts. I believe I read hifonics amps are slightly over rated. I have many people running their 12's at 1200rms easily. It is just an idea if you are looking for more output.

i am very very jealous..... if u didnt catch it were like best friends, its my job to be jealous of all his stuff..... but my 9855 laughs at his sony Xplod deck..... thats about all i got on him lol

I'm a huge basshead i know, i would get another mag and another bx1505d, but i would never fit anything bigger in that camaro than what i have now. It kinda sucks.

Plus everything in my car besides the amp and sub ****, crappy cd player and all stock speakers, but the bose speakers sound somewhat decent so i'm not that worried about it.
