i know. but in the many years shanahan has been here, i haven't heard him so brash about it. he sounded almost annoyed at the media questioning the ability of this team. cutler showed him something in spring training. the defensive line is better than he thought it would be. we still have the best cornerbacks, as a whole, in football. our linebackers are top 5, in terms of ability. we have possibly a top 3 in the nfl receiver in brandon marshall. alot of talented young athletes. the broncos are one of those teams that could go either way. they are talented, but young. shanahan seems to think he has one of the most athletically talented teams in the nfl this year. and even more athletic than his 2 super bowl teams, overall. we obviously don't have a Terrell Davis though. running back is still a big ? in my mind. we do have pittman, who is a decent back in the event that selvin young gets hurt or sucks.

pittman is a very tough runner, but he is a little older....i think he will be a good 3rd down guy in the backfield. plus he had pretty good hands...

You can pretty much guarantee any decent runner will be good for a 1000yd season with the Broncs if he stays healthy. And as long as Cutler keeps calm, I think they should have a pretty good passing game. Cutler could be great some day if the environment is right.

Why? Broncs have some good players and if Cutler can get some more control (which should come with experience) he could be a very good QB. They got screwed by injuries last year, and they picked up a few good picks in the draft. I think it will be a decent year for them.

And you underestimate how pissed I am about the Packers letting Favre go if you think I would willingly cheer on Aaron Rogers. It's like kicking Sinatra out of the Rat Pack. You just don't do it. I honestly think that Lambeau (the stadium that has been sold out every game for the last two decades) will drop to 75% attendance after this crap.

fairly easy division?? do u watch the NFL???? do u know who is in the division?? it doesnt sound like u watch enough NFL to know thats the hardest division in the league

toughest division in the league?

the dolphins sure put up quite a challenge don't they.

The toughest division is the AFC...South?

(The one with Indianapolis, Jacksonville, Houston, and Tenessee). All of those teams can be playoff contenders.

Or the NFC East, Dallas, Philly, NY Giants, Redskins...

or the one with the steelers browns bengals and..uh...the other team.

Man you are really gonna eat those words when this season is over- especially about Jay Cutler- he is gonna be all pro this year and for years to come
