please let me vent before i go on to my ?BECAUSE I JUST BOUGHT THE JBL 1200.1 AND I CANT PUSH IT TO THE MAX BECAUSE I CANT AFORD RIGHT NOW TO UPGRADE MY SUCKY STOCK ALT.whew now on to my ? i think there is a positive to this now before i got the 1200.1 i had the 600.1 that puts out 600rms at 1ohm and the 1200 puts this out at 4ohm now i herd that 600rms at 4ohm sounds cleaner and louder than 600rms at 1ohm is this true?

yea thats true but you are not gonna be wiring ur sub to 1 ohm if you are looking for it to sound good

yup that's true...

go ahead and hook the jbl up anyways, just wire at a high ohm load for now - save ur alt. and u'll still have some beat until you upgrade ur alt.
