so i just got done installing my mach5 spl 15" and i ****ing love it!!!!i honastly dont think i will ever run a different sub again.going to get my 2 saz3000 and another one of these subs.it will sound amazing!!!just figured i had to brag about this sexy *** sub.

ok well i have 2 shocker super extreme's,2 r types,2 l7's,1 soundstream t4,and couldnt name how many other flee market subs i bought before i new what i was doing.so i kinda have heard a lil of everything.it is ****ing loud considering i only have it in a 3.5cube box tuned to 35hz.its a temp box for just a moment i know this sub needs atleast 5+cubes but havent been able to build a box that will fit yet.i would say if i fully power it and put it in the right box i think it would be louder then lingerfelts 21"dp.i love it

i dont think you need 5+ cubes for this specially with the power youre considering. In a daily application 3.5 may be fine and if youre going for meter scores and are deadset on building a box, keep it around 4 cubic feet but at 40 hz. you would still be able to get away with 3.5 cubes though and not feel guilty about it depending on your port area.

mrogowski told me If you can squeeze a fairly large box in your ride, then do it - 5+ cubes (does not include port volume) tuned to ~37Hz should get your hair moving. Use about 60 square inches of port for good volumes.

and i love it!!!!cant wait to get another one.need bigger amps first thou my aq2200 is no were near enough!!cant what for income tax check so i can get more amps.
