Hey everybody.

Well in the next week or so I'll be either buying:

2 15 MAW's sealed

or

2 12 MAW's vented

Originally stuck on 15's with a vented box but after measuring out my trunk (93 Regal), I doesn't look like a vented box would fit, so how about sealed?

So, then I thought about the 12's with a vented. It'd fit for sure.

I'm looking for loudness while still sounding clean, so..

Pair of 15's sealed or 12's vented?

BTW: Amp I'll be running them on is a MA Audio HK2000D

1500 @ 2 Ohms

If I do decide for the 12's, can they take over 700 daily?

Alright thanks alot.

Yea so I guess I'll stick with the 15's then //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fro.gif.c695f1f814b01c4ad99fe7f8cccadd29.gif

Dinky price difference so I dont give a **** to pick 15's.

If these subs are so nice then why are they priced so cheap?

DUDE DUDE DUDE... Umm.. you cant get a 2 ohm load with 2 DVC 4ohm woofers...

So you will probably only be able to get 750 watts at 4 ohms so divided by 2 = 375 a woofer.

EDIT!!!! Just read specs on amp and it looks like it is 1500@1 ohm not 2... so I think you will be fine with the 15s.... The 12s might be a little pushing it.

coming from a maw 15" owner i would say 2 15" sealed would be plenty loud given the right amount of power. i have 1 sealed and its almost enough for me.

you're still wrong...

You will run them together at 1 ohm... The amp is a single channel.

Wire the woofers in Parallel to get a 2 ohm load on each woofer and then parallel to the amp. You get a 1 ohm load this way.

Only thing you were wrong about was that you can do 1500 watts at 1 ohm (not 2) which is GREAT for 2 dual4ohm woofers.

I ran 2 MAW 15's sealed. And I loved them. I thought they sounded excellent and mine were in a very small box as well.

And the reason they are so cheap is becasue there is very little overhead costs, and money being made by Mach 5 Audio on these drivers. And the savings are passed along to the end user. So price is not a key indicator of a products performance with this company.
