Mach 5 MAW VS DD 1515

Ok Geuss I will have to face the flames here:blackeye:

Basically I can get a box to fit in the back of my S-10 and a snug top or whatever to fit, that is like a camper shell but more sleek looking, but it fits snug to the cab. The box Im pretty sure is sealed and it holds 6 15" subs. The box was in an S-10 just like mine.

POWER SUPPLY: (2) PA A3000DB's with couple runs of 1/0, Big 3,1 HC1400 under hood, (2) HC2000's for spare batterys, later down the line a HO alty

6 MAW's for 475 + shipping ( Keep in mind 15" subs ) (( Dual 4's ))

6 DD 1515 for 750 with hour and half drive pickup (( Single 4's ))

Wiring Situation: With the Mach 5's the only suffiecent way I could wire them is all 6 wired into Series for a 1.33 ohm load and after imdependance rise I should be seeing around 1500 per amp and see about 3k total

With the DD's I could do 3 on each amp and each see about 3k total, OR I could do 6 wired to each amp and see about 3.7-3.8k total RMS

Oh and I also plan to use the back window as my "ghetto blow thru" for the bass to enter cabin and if it does not perform well then I plan to do some cab cutting and possibly redo the box.

PLEASE TAKE TIME TO READ POST AND HELP ME OUT?

No experience with either sub but I just wanted to say **** 6 15's. Thats lots of deeeeee beeeeeezz. My votes for the Mach's but only because they're cheaper and I've heard good things about em.

The last diagram of 6. It would bring the load down to .67, but after imdependance rise and all that hopefully I'll be close to a 1 ohm load, so I will wire them like this to 1 amp and re-wire this again to the other amp.

Im pretty sure I can do that? Correct me if Im wrong:crap:

It would be cheaper, but Im sure shipping of 6 15's aint the cheapest.

Its a 105 amp alty lol, hopefully the 3 batts and shitton of wiring will hold up for the time being //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Ummm....I doubt it. You really should address the alternator if you plan on running that much power for a daily driver.

Hmm I'm really in the middle between the two.

And for the power situation, Until I get an HO alty Im just going to run 1 amp and have it set around for 1500 RMS so each 15 will see around 250 for the time being

Just curious if you factored in the amps split the final ohm load...example final load is 2ohm so both amps see a 1ohm load......I would say either is going to be DUMB loud, because of cone area....lastly I think if you run that pair of amps NO LOWER then 1ohm you should be fine with the battery power you have, until you can upgrade to a bigger alt.

Ahhh, I see in that case I will run 3 subs on 1 amp and the other 3 subs on the other amp which should give me a decent 3k ( 500 RMS to each sub )

Which means I would have to go with DD 1515's since they wire to a 1.33 ohm load for 3.

And the DVC MAW's would wire to 2.67 for 3 which my amps would give like 1000 RMS to each set of 3

Or I could wire 6 to each amp which would give a 1.33 ohm load and once I split the 2 it would drop to .67 for each amp:*******:

Which basically equals 6 DD1515's with 500 rms going to each sub
