i absolutely hate windows based software. despite my issue here with the internet, at least in 5 years my mac will still be fully functional instead of being used as a paper weight.

Doubt it...the macbook I use for school has to be fixed nearly every year because the case keeps cracking. Have had 0 issues with my PC. Like I said, as long as you know what you're doing you're fine.

Also, I bet that fixed my computer vs. you having your mac fixed is going to be a hell of a lot cheaper //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

Yeah no doubt dude. Anything goes wrong with the macs it's like a German car.

I def. don't like apple products. most of them are pretty user friendly and that is a vantage point amongst older consumers and tech-tarded consumers but I hate using them. support is terrible, they **** to modify, etc. I use an HP Dv7 and it is sick. I turn it off when I don't use it and it doesn't take but about 20-30 seconds to load up fully. I bought it 3 years ago before coming into college and it has 8gb of ram, 500gb hd, and a dual core that hasn't been too outdated yet. graphics card is strong too. runs all of my engineering software smoothly and I've used it probably every day for 3 years. Never breaks or quits. It also only costed me 700 when I bought it, which was super cheap back then for what I was getting.
