MA hk401sx or Hifonics Bxi1206D?

I'm having a really tough decision between these 2 amps.

I have a chance to get an MA HK401SX + some 4 gauge power wires, rca, and inline fuse for trade for my paintball equipment. But I won't have all the wires I'll need.

Or I have a chance to sell gun for cash and buy the Hifonics BXi1206D and have cash left over for wire kit.

HK401SX is class a/b so it'll **** up more power.

BXi1206D is class D, which is what I was really looking for.

I'll be using this for a 2ohm DVC TC-9 (type) sub, that can handle 1000+WRMS.

I really wanted to get a class D, but heard the HK401SX is a nice amp.

What should I do?

HIFONIC VS MA or anyone 2 ohm stable amp

I've got the 1206d and I'm very happy with it, pushing it at 1 ohm and it stays totally cold, and pushes my type R HARD. Also I have mine under the seat and at night the whole floor is lit up neon blue, pretty sweet.

it is actually a class x amp

Really? Wow never heard of that.

Have to look that one up.

it is more efficient than a class a/b and will draw less current

I found this from a description about a Visonik amp

"A Class "X" Amplifier is a Class"D" Amplifier with a digitally controlled power supply. It is this highly sophisticated power supply that gives Class "X" an edge in overall efficiency when compared to Class "D" Amplifier"

So it's more efficient than a class D amp? Anyone. Still looking for information.

yes it is a very efficient amp, so it will draw less from ur electrical

Well it says it's a high current amp? So what does that mean with it being a class X?

it means that is is just the line of amp they have it is just in their hard core line of amps, it says high current cuz it is putting out some real power

there are many diffrent amps that they make that say high current on them

I ended up purchasing 2-MA AUDIO HK2000D 1800w D class amps

Hopefully these can power those 15's i have and good luck on which one you choose,
