MA audio amp?

Hey im looking for something that can power my 15" Kicker L7s (dvc 2) subs. Right now I have an Audiobahn a1300hct amp power both of them. Its a nice looking amp, sounds decent, but isn't loud. I need something much louder. I was looking at getting the MA AUDIO AMPLIFIER HK802SX for $380 (refurbished). It says it does the following:

2 x 500W RMS @ 4-Ohm Stereo

2 x 800W RMS @ 2-Ohm Stereo

2 x 1400W RMS @ 1-Ohm Stereo

2 x 2200W RMS @ 0.5-Ohm Stereo

1 x 4400W RMS @ 1-Ohm Bridged

Dimensions (H x W x L)

2.7" x 12.4" x 27.3"

What do you guys think? Also if that too much power to run 2 L7s I wouldn't mind adding a 3rd L7. Im just unsure if this amp will power 3 L7s?

That MA amp is a high current amp which means you will need to be able to feed it plenty of juice or it wont put out it's rated power and if undervolted enough, it could die. If you can feed it juice it is rated at 13.8v so it should wang really good. It's not a bad price either. I've worked with quite a few MA amps and they perform quite well and are built solid. My dealer has done hundreds of installs with MA amps and subs and has had zero returns. Contact MA tech support and ask them about the amp, they always return my calls and emails quite promptly.

I could only run 2 subs with this amp or more than 1?

You can run as many as you want as long as you dont exceed it's imdepdence ratings. It is 1ohm stable mono or .5ohm stable stereo. Your kickers are dual 2ohm subs so I'd run it stereo and wire each sub to 1ohm. That would lay over 1k watts per sub assuming you have the elictical system to feed the amp.

get 4 l7s together and wire them to 1 and bridge the amp there you go. then get an electrical upgrade to

i would do the electrical first nothing worse than cooking 1 woofer than more woofers. a/b amps arent nearly as efficient as class d in these applications
