M3 vs. L5

Its b/t 2 12' Memphis M3's and 2 12' Kicker L5's. I know both of these subs are used primarily for spl aplications, but which out of the two would have better sq? Also which would have better spl?

How much are the M3's going to cost you? I'd say M3s.. for SQ and possibly SPL aswell.
