not with the wire u have no and hwere ut at with idle....but then again it all depends on if the batt u have in there now is shittty or if ur alternator is the messed up one....like i said already check ur voltage on the battery with the car offwould adding a second battery help any?
It was my first setup but they were 4ohm subs so i took some wire and ran it from post to the other and the ix amp had 2 channels like the m1b so i just wired each one to each terminal. and they were both in individual prefab boxes that were terrible. so yes this is box made by me to DDs specs on their website but it is going to change to one a little different designed by buck.If I remember correctly, your car is running a 95 or 115amp alternator. Dont quote me on it. Adding a deep cycle battery will put extra strain on your current stock alternator. IMO, upgrade the alternator first, then worry about the battery.
And like they said above. Run 0awg and split to 4. Ditch that 6 gauge now and go for 4. While you are doing your 1/0awg upgrade, redo your Big 3 with the left over 1/0awg.
Oh and something else that wasn't covered in any replies that you were concerned about. You said you were running a Type R and a Type X setup. Were these setups with one sub or two? Also, what was the wiring configuration of the subs? What is the wiring configuration of your DD? Did you change your box out at all?
no he's not. 1/0 will carry more of a load than the 4g he has will. the rating difference is only 50a between OFC and CCA.Is that DB link OFC or CCA, if its CCA you would be better off with the 4 awg you already have
u really have no clue wtf ur talking about huhIs that DB link OFC or CCA, if its CCA you would be better off with the 4 awg you already have
