Juss got my new car, it is a 1993 Lexus Ls400, so far its been the hardest car to put a system in, i foundly found on ebay ther wiring harness and the otehr stuff i need to put an aftermarket stereo, now i juss need to get it here, i already have the system ill be putting 2 10" l5's powered by a an audiobahn a8002t, but i was wondering if bass would be able to be heard inside the cabin as the tank is behind the seats, so i was wondering if i would be able to hear it inside the cabin, or could i put my subs free aired where the stock Sub is sitting at, and sound good, need help, anyone here has a ls400 with a system need help.

lates, em

good luck finding a way to route the power wire in. my boy has one and we were looking kuz he is gonna put a system in his. i am sure you will be able to hear the subs. just pull that stock sub out and port in the cabin threw there. if you find a place to run that wire let me know! and take some pics too.

So want to finish what i have already, got stereo in and all, where did u guys pass your wires trough to the trunk, need ideas.

thanks, em

I have '90 LS400 and it's beeocth to instll the equipment nd to make it loud. I would aleast put twelves back there. I have two 15''s and 1000 watts rms amp it's not loud like it should be. Also the rear deck and the rear light/speaker cover rattles REALLY bad and you hve to be careful because it could smack up against your glass and break it. But yeah that's about it.

Oh yeah and my wiring is ran into the trunk near the top of the rear deck, there is a little hole you can slip the cables/rcas through

Yup fund that hole already bro, and now i juss need to build myslef a box, im going to be putting 2 10" l5s back there with 450 rms each hope it bumps nice, if not ill have to upgrade, what stuff did you do to make it louder?/

later, em

Take out the stock subwoofer and port your box through that hole. Or you can cut holes on your rear deck. I took out the stock subwoofer cover and just left that open, it just rattled too much.

The trunks on lexuses literally **** more than anything for car audio

I have a pair of 3004's being fed 800rms each and they dont get nearly as loud as they should. Im building a box to fire the subs directly into the rear deck to help this issue

Ok so i finnaly installed my system, it does bump, but i know its not how it should sound, so i was wondering what did you guys do to make it more louder on the inside and outside, i was thinkning of putting ports on the back deck to port my trunk to the cabin what do you guys think, could it work to get more bass inside??

yes. every little thing matters on the meter.

im cutting my whole back dash and installing my subs on the back dash, than building a box under it and porting it all into the cabin. My setup right now hit 135.8 on the TL meter, not as loud as it should be, but it does sound good.
