If they have got past the get unbelievably trashed right before showtime routine out of their system, I'll give it a listen, but when they played the LC on the 2004 Jagermeister stop in Columbus, they were so drunk they played the Heretic Anthem then started the intro to Surfacing and went right back into Heretic Anthem. I walked out, Corey sounded like shit, Mick wasn't playing half as good as he did on any of their albums, they basically sucked, and I paid good money to see them and Fear Factory. I'd actually never seen or heard Chimaira until that show, and Chimaira and Fear Factory blew them out of the water live.

when I was 17 I never ever heard shit so heavy as slipknots debut album, definatly made fearfactory and soulfly take the back seat.... Iowa is raw and definatly pwns... the latest shit is OK, but common..... stoned sour.... ?

I want to hear some more shit that will make me want to throw my fist through a wall and drive at 160MPH....

I really think, they will be going back to there roots with this new album. God, I hope so.

Im not really a metal head, I had a little time where I listened to alot, but not to much anymore.

But I loved Slipknot before Vol3 came out, so I did like there older stuff better.

Im more into bands like Stone Sour tho.

Uhhh I find myself listening to their First album more than any other one, Iowa was ok, their new shit sucks, Psychosocial was an ok song for the new stuff though. Deffinately not a hardcore fan, but I guess you could say I'm a little into it.
