Relax, 27hz is more than low enough to enjoy music...
I would be more concerned about hearing loss in the vocal/instrument range...found out the other day that at exactly 5khz I am almost completely deaf in one ear //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
i'd have to agree with you.

lately after my reinstall and using rsd comps, sometimes on certain music the highs has my ears aching more than the presure of bass.

i need to get my hearing checked.

i call instant BS.
there is a difference between being able to hear these frequencies and being able to know their presence //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

i too was once fooled by this concept.
I was joking, Hoss...

The ":word:" proves that. NT

If you are feeling any side effects (ie ear aches) then you probably already did some damage...it sucks...sometimes it happens even when you are careful...
I still have the majority of my hearing all the way up to 20khz and below to 20hz, its just that area (maybe 4900-5100hz, haven't tested it) that I am almost completely deaf on one side...I noticed it a few months ago when some music was SLIGHTLY muffled on the right side...
