I just realized today that the average human can hear tones as low as 20 Hz... I'm not average... my hearing stops around 27 Hz... I found out today playing a 25 Hz test tone in the parking lot... my subs and body panels were going crazy... but all I heard was flexing... while all of my friends were actually hearing bass...

I'd like to see how low the hearing of my fellow bassheads extends... poll up in a lil bit

I feel like the big forum loser, my hearing ends at 27 Hz... I miss out on all the fun... I guess my next enclosure will be tuned a little higher, although i do love the immense flex at 27 Hz, so much so that I'll have to film it

My 12" btl peaked at 27 hz (145.xx deeebbeeezzz lol) and it was still a "bassy" note. inside of my work somone said it sounded like a loud helicopter but wasnt very "bassy" so I am guessing not too much lower than that?

Relax, 27hz is more than low enough to enjoy music...
I would be more concerned about hearing loss in the vocal/instrument range...found out the other day that at exactly 5khz I am almost completely deaf in one ear //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
