Just thought I should share..

Got my explorer lowered 2 inches yesterday.

Mounted up the 22s this morning and I am loving it.

Also i got the new grilles. out with billet grilles, in with the street scene speed grilles.

Before it was lowered, it looked like this:

Tomorrow I will be getting the true dual exhaust done.

I never really understood the whole lowering an SUV thing... but that is just me, it does look pretty nice to be honest though. Also, in all honesty when I get my Escalade I will probably be doing the same thing LOL but that is a little different. Escalades where never really meant to go off road or anything.

Not worried about pulling that camper with it lowered? Or do you use the Jeep for that?

very nice.. im thinking of goinog another direction with my 02 xlt explorer black, i already have the chrome pillar covers and bar grills, probably gonna remove my steps all together and go with a chrome wheel package and aggressive all terrain tires.

wigger...
lol if you r trying to insult me, thats cool. But I am very far from a "wigger" or whatever you call it. I live in a red neck town. Like I said it is cool just call me whatever u want //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Who says I got a camper? lol my dad got a 04 f150, my mom got 02 explorer. My bro got 10" lifted 88-89 F-250 on 42 inch tires that we go mudbogs with and he got a 03 f150. I thought I d go for street look. But being lowered does not mean I cant pull anything...??

BTW, I like SUVs because there are plenty of space and I am a college student so often I have some stuff to bring home and back, etc. Not like this vehicle is POS 6 banger or whatever, it got a nice 4.6 V8 and the lowering kit gave me a lot of improvement in handling and body roll.

looks good. Didn't want to do 4's?
I like how 22s looks. 24s are way too big and it is more of "wigger" to me. If you need a definition of "wigger", ask the dude up above.

I am thinking about buying a set of 20s so 24 is a no no to me ha.

unlike your moms snatch... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Being lowered redcues the amount of weight you can pull before your suspension is bottom out because obviously, its already lower.

True, but I dont have anything to pull other than a jetski. Not worried at all, otherwise I would borrow one of my relatives' vehicles if needed.

I have not pulled a thing since I bought this vehicle so like I said not worried at all.

that and the angle... figure a camper will sit quite a bit higher than a lowered Explorer so you will have a pretty low point at the ball which from experience is NOT a good thing LOL
