Loudest ever???

Physics. Depends on the rules as well. Meca is a lot harder to his 170 than dB Drag, etc. Big box with a big port, basically. Loyd would know best, he's king shit of turdsville around here when it comes to SPL. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

nate munson and his team are freaking insane put it that way. he strapped 2 Viper 2500d's to his DD9510 and did i 169.8 on the dash. i asked loyd about him hitting the 170 mark and he said nate hasn't officially done it yet. anyway his entire car is a box basically with a single woofer in the cab. MUCH elecrtical upgrades and much more time and physics as mark stated than almost anyone is willing to put into a car. it's incredibly hard to put up #'s like that with 1 sub but people kinda shit a brick when you do. oh and when he did his i think 171.6 on the dash or around that 171.somethin with his DD9515 he was using i think like 5kw rms power for the burp.

it is called an extreme vehicle - you can see mine on page 3 on my webpage http://Http://members.sounddomain.com/ndmstang652

it is all about physics, "for every action, there is an equal but oppisite reaction" never forget that quote - this is why we rebuild test an rebuild and test sooooooo many times to get it exactly right

it is also about wavelegth ratios and understaning how sound waves travel

spl has evolved into a science, your average jo cannot do it and win anymore..it has gotten very very technical

ok, lets say that I get my subs to hit 1 decibel lower than the 194 limit could I get it louder my changing the frequency played? and what would be the most impressive frequency to use durring sound off comps?

you are not going to see that in a vehicle unless it is pressurized, the 180dB mark in theory is as high as you can go without pressurizing the cabin

ok, but can you make it louder by changing the frequency? and what is the best frequency to play for a sound off comp/
