heres a deal i have been offered (though i wont have money for a month so its not for sure going to be there then)

trade my aq1200d, and 2 alpine r (12"s) and 200$ FOR 4 15" re se's

JUST FYI: if not, im selling the aq amp, getting a aq3500d, and two more type r's

is this a good deal?

im going for loud mostly

would the change in size from 12 to 15 and the differnt type make it alot louder?

4 15 re se vs 4 12 type r

both on a aq3500d

that setup with the 4 15's should be louder than what you have already

no i meant would those 4 re se's (15inch) be louder than 4 type r(12inch) if they were ran on aq3500d

and is it a good deal (its be basically 250 bucks more to go from 12inch type r's to 15inch re se's for all 4 subs)

IMHO i dont think its a good deal. 4 RE SEs will run you about 750. So take off 200 for the cash, another 250 for the subs you have right now, and another 250 for the amplifer, and what you're left with is just a 50 dollar difference for getting them used....

they are BNIB. also, right now, id sell the aq for less than 250 (used) and pay like 200 for 2 more type r's/ this way, i dont have to worry about selling the amp, pay the same ammount for id use on the other two r's

so all in all, its about 250 bucks more from 4 type r 12inches to 4 re se 15inches. is that a good deal?

It will be louder if you have enough space for them. But 4 12s in a proper sized box will probably be louder than 4 15s in a box that is too small for them.
