Louder than my Mofo's?

my buddy has 2 mofo's in a ported box in his expedition and they are louder than my 2 15's

I love how people that don't own or never even heard Mofo's and they dog on them because everyone else does. I own a pair of 12's and have heard at least 5 setups with two 12" or 15" L7's in them. And my mofo's were louder than almost all of them. And I'm talking by ear, not on the mic. I can give a **** about that. Sure 2 15L7's with a expensive bad *** pure SPL enclosure with gobs of power will be a little louder, but the average L7 setup is not as loud. Don't be so quick to jump on the bandwagon and dog on the Mofo's. You'll more than likely get a foot in your mouth.

You mean CVX's? If so, I've never heard them in person. But my mofo's are just as loud if not louder than L7's.

no way what so ever.i would even give you an extra sub and still put the mofo to shame with my L7's

dont get me wrong there are much better subs then an l7 but in this case if done properly the l7 will destroy a mofo

I never make comments on things I havent had any experience with, so dont make assumptions about what I have heard!! Secondly, the mofos are possibly one of the worst subs ive ever dealt with. They are simply a large paper weight, and nothing more.

Hey man I am from GF. Don't they still carry Kicker at Good Vibrations? I feel your pain. There is pretty much no selection as far as car audio goes where you are at. Good luck and enjoy the wind your having.

The cvx is a round l7 if you havent noticed:idea: , not to mention the l7s have a slight advantage due to cone area!!!

I have had many friends with PA crap installed in them. The Mofo's do get decently loud, but everyone that I know who has had L7's would put it too shame spl/sq wise. The only thing worth a buck or two is their amps. Even then they have had problems with them. Still is the best thing they make, period.

With that said, I would spend 50 some more bucks and get a FI Q!

Daaah. I just asked for people to stay on topic of my OP and still no one can do that. Again, I don't care about you or yours friends L7 install or how much you think Mofo's ****. Now is NOT the time for that. I'm looking to swap my Mofo's for FI SSD12's, Kicker CVX12's, or SoundStream t4-12's. That is all. Does anyone got any of those new they could sell me or have any hookups? Also BigBang, I would be spending $140 more for the Q's, not sure were you got $50 from? And I want a sub built for all out balls to the wall SPL, rather than a sub "made more for SQ", which looks like the "Q" model is. I could be wrong though. And my Hifonics BX2005D has to be able to power them adequately.

i'd go 2 ssd's but if it was me i'd get on AA havoc and port the shit out of it, in a nice box i could see it doing low to mid 140's. easily
