Louder 2 L5's or 1 15 in. Mag

I currently have 2 kicker 12" L5's in a sealed box. Would 1 15 in. Mag be louder than my current setup. Because i'm makin the decision to get the Mag. Mag or L5's?

port the L5s and opt for the bigger of the two amps listed in your sig.. my friend had that same setup with the chrome coned L5s and a bx1600d and it would pretty crazy loud.

i think with the extra cone area the mag might not be able to beat em for spl.

Port it. I'm lookin for some good SQ in the setup but i want it to be loud too. Would it be louder than 600 watts goin to the kickers sealed. Cuz thats what i have now. Cuz i would have to sell the kickers and then save up some more money to buy the mag. Is it really worth it? I would also be gettin the hifonics 1606d for the mag. So which setup would be better. I don't know about porting the kickers because i don't have much room. Just about 4 cubes. What would you recommend. Port the kickers or get the Mag and port that?

Well at first it would be gettin 600 but then i'm upgrading to the hifonics 1606d so itd be gettin about 1300. But in the future if i didn't get the mag i would be gettin the 1606d for the kickers. And it would be nice to have some sound quality but i do want some loudness too and i heard the mags have both.

Well the thing is my friend wants some subs and i would be selling the kickers to him and then buying the Mag. I heard they are very nice drivers and it would nice to have some sq but be heard around the block also. Gonna have a hard time making this decision.

Yea i know i would. I just need to get the whole cash thing straight and then that thing will be gettin 1300 w. I hope i will be happy with the Mag if i decide to go that way. I'm thinking yes right now. Is it worth it to sell the kickers for 350. The kickers are very loud but the sound quality isn't always there on all the notes. It would be nice to have sq and loudness. How would the mag compare to the jl 12w7...i know there is a thread about it i just want your opinion.

Yuck, I'm not a fan of W7's, I think they're really overrated ( I mean it is JL audio ), and the W7's I've heard are really boomy sounding, and not tight at all. They just dont sound good.

But look around the forum, the mag has yet to dissipoint ANYONE here.

Yea, well i'm selling it to a friend so i'm giving him a deal on everything. So i'm gonna do 350 with the box. I got the box for 40 anyways. Alot of people on here say the L5's **** and that they can get them for 100 bucks each. So i'm thinkin 350 wouldn't be that bad of a price or should i up it a little more?
