What is the loudest sub or subs off of 600 watts rms? I dont want to go over 2.5 cubes. The box will be ported tuned to low 30s.

ummm. they can get pretty loud. my 7500 wangs pretty good of 400watts. the 8500 probably compairs to a type R. also dont get an L7. you would be better off getting a L5 and powering it fully then underpowering a L7. check into the Kicker CVR.also u might wanna consider 2 300watt subs. also check out the RE SE sub. its a 600watter. check em out at http://www.reaudio.com

also...the IDMAX and Avalanche are efficient (and loud) as well

also look into the 15" RE SX

I had it with 700-800 wrms in a 3 cu ft vented box tuned to 30 hz

it was the loudest shyt I ever had in my car....louder than my 3-12" Rockford HX2s (my first setup)

hmmm... 600 watts? i would get 2 300rms subs or 2 RE RE's.... underpowering a powerful sub won't get you anywhere

I liked my MTX 8500. It was a great sub. If I install another stereo in a friends car, I am most likely to advise the MTX 8500 if its in the budget.
