Loud sealed?

My RSD's sound great, but I feel I want something louder now, all though they are definitely pretty **** loud.

I have ~2.0 cubes to work with (for two 12's) and 1800 watts @ 1 ohm.

I have some ideas, but anyone have personal experiences with 12's that get loud in smaller sealed enclosures?

go for a single 12" ported off 1800w. My DC level 4 gets VERY loud off 1700~ watts.

2 cubes sealed is not enough for 2 12"s after displacement. IMO

My DC is actually for sale if you would be interested.. Your local..

I have a single cab truck, larger/ported enclosure is not an option, although I wouldnt mind meeting up with you to hear that DC.

honestly, without changing the box, or adding more power you aren't going to notice that much a difference switching subs.

You're probably better off doing 1 10" ported with that amount of room.

stick with that set up. Or do as my friend, make a box where the center console would be. He did a 147 legal on the TL with two atlas 12''s and a bxi 2000d. Same truck.

Can I Have this guys email? There is no center console area in that truck. I have a bench seat so I don't think that would work.

Look for a sub with a lot of xmax.

CVX 10's are loud.

I got one ported (see sig) getting about 600rms and it slams. Almost as loud as my buddy's 2 12's sealed.

My friend has CVX's, but they arent loud enough for me. Plus, everyone said 1 10 ported > 2 12's sealed.. idk about that, but I'll talk your guy's word for it.

I would have to add aeros to my sealed box I guess.

But, I still need a loud ten that'll take 1800 w @ one ohm, 1400 @ two ohms, or 900 at four ohms.

Don't port your sealed box, dummy. Its too small. Despite what people on this forum say, I have a hard time believing that 1 10 ported > 2 12's of the same caliber sealed in sufficient enclosure volume.
