loud screeching

Want Bass?
I don't know what is causing it.... (look in my sig for my set up). i was listening to music and it was turned up to 22/35 and all the sudden this screeching just starts and it wouldn't turn off till i took out the radio, then when I put it back in it was gone until i touched the volume knob. I screeching doesn't go up or down in volume but stays the same, the amp doesn't go into protection at all, only when i turn it on, then it lights up green. no fuses are blow no loose connections,

maybe i should check each speaker by unpluggin one at a time.

Also it worked fine for 5 months and never had a problem no smoke or smell...

I had a similar problem with my subs. one of the speaker wires touched the chasis and the subs just started making noise at full volume pretty much.

So maybe check over your connections and see if anything is touching.

First off though, disconnect the RCAs and see if it still makes the noise. That will narrow the cause down. (if they keep making the noise, then you know your problem isnt with the HU.)

ok i disconnected the rear rcas and it was still there, then i plugged them back in and disconnected the fronts and it stopped, I never checked if i disconnect the left of right speaker so that will be next, tomorrow. it can't be blown because no sound would come out right?
