Loud Compitition sub

K so i am looking for an SPL sub. I want this too be as loud as possible. I dont care a whole lot about sound quality but i would like something that would sound decent for daily playing. Looking for something around $500 new or used. I will power it with a IA 20.1 or a DDM3 depending on what i end up getting. LMK what you think.

Hm if I am correct the IA 20.1 puts out about 1800@1ohm. There are PLENTY of woofers out there that can take that power and are WAYYYYYYYYY cheaper then 500!

i've heard good things around here about audioque hdc's and fi subs... a friend of mine has a 15" fi btl fully loaded and i believe he runs about 2000 rms @ 1 ohm. i've heard of people giving them more than that but his gets super loud...

Yea ive heard of the HDC3's and they are really cheap. I just want something i will win with, i realize i cant just buy a sub and call it good, i need to experiment with box size, tuning...etc.

I really like my SPL 12's from Mach 5. Of course I'm a little bias to them but they sound better than MT's and other subs like them. They have a lot of moter force and are pretty efficient. They were **** loud in my 4th order for them off 2kw.

OK, im thinking between 2 hdc3's or ??? I really want a single sub to hit in the low 140's. Probably a 12" but i could do a 15". Im looking at the DD subs but im not really familiar with these. If i could get one used but in good condition for under 500 id be happy.

its a four foor tho. 99 lumina. Well if its easy then i am looking for more of a challenge. How bout 145-147. Thats pretty high. Ik my friend got 146.2 with a single orion hcca 12 but there are better subs out there. like i said, i want one of the best. if not the best. I can up the budget too, just lmk what i should start with.
