loud bang

just finished installing my new audio system

but every time I turn it off , it sounds like a gun being shot on you car

besides that everything else is great , no engine noise , windows or anything .

they told me it might be my 12 fard capacitor .

any ideas?

1) check all power/ground connections, make sure everything is on bare metal, not painted metal.

the capacitor COULD be the culplrit, but i highly doubt it. If its a capacitor problem, its probably a connection to the capacitor

However, in the near future, i reccomend trashing the cap and replacing it with a decent battery, like a kinetik HC800

I will verify the GNDs but I did conect them to bare metal, however the capacitor has 1 GND input and 1 output and the input is conected directly to the secound battery - and not to bare metal , the output is conected to bare metal.

BTW I have 2 kinetics KHC1400 one upfront and one on the back.
