Ok guys i am lost again as changed the car and the sound sucks with some quality equipmet. What i have is

HU: Pioneer DEH.860MP

Front:DLS MS6A (doors fully damped and sealed properly)

From amp: PPI pcx 4400..

SUB: DD9512 sealed

SUb amp: Audison Vrx500.1

The same kit gave me some sweet sound in the lat car but i dont know whats wrong now but i am sure there is something wrong with the frequencies and filters.Gains are set with DMM so they are accurate.

My concerns are:

setting on HU are front HP 63hz......-6db

rear HP 63hz.....-6db

sub LP 80hz.....-12 db

I dont know what settings to use and which setting are being used as there are setting on th amps i have set also.

Pls correct where i am wrong...

Cheers

Cascading crossovers (using both those on the HU and the amp) rarely works well, as it introduces phase shift and they rarely are the exact frequency no matter if they are labeled as the same.

If possible try defeating the amp crossovers and just use the HU's.
