Loose connection on amp

I have a lose connection to a part insidemy amp resembling a donut with wire rapped around it. I was wonering if i could sauder this back together. Any ideas?

yes, if its what you descirbed it is an inductor. there should be wires coming off it that go to your amp. if those came loose yes you can solder them back there but i wouldnt recommend it unless you know what your doing

my dad knows what he is doing. There is that donut shaped object rapped in wire then there is a little flat peace of metal that has come off. It looks as it was glued on. After that my sub made a little thumping sound and the amp made a hissing sound
