Looking for 12's

I am downgrading from 18's to 12's and right now am looking at either a pair of RE SE 12's or Alpine Type R 12's. They will be ran on an Audiopipe AP18001D amp at 1 ohm. Out of those two subs which would be better with that amp? Also if you have any suggestions of other 12's that would be better please let me know. I am on a restricted budget I am looking at these because I can get a pair of the type r's for 250 and a pair of the SE's for 335. So my budget for a pair of 12's is 350. I would rather not get AQ because I had them in my last 3 setups and would like to try something new.

Type r's are nice, but what about Fi SSD 12's?

Type R's will get loud with that power, I've played with mine at 1ohm a few times and it seems to take it in stride (1.5k rated) but my gains are waaaay low. I'm not sure about the SE's but if it's just loudness your looking for, the R's will provide well enough. Just realize that this is going to be a huge downgrade from 18's and don't expect miracles

I like my RESE 12's. I think they could handle that power if your careful.

Not sure about the new RE SEX's.

I'm leaning towards the type r's because i have a scion xb with all alpine in it. but if there are subs that will do better on the ap1800 i will get them. I want the best bang for the buck

Rockford Fosgates got some nice subs for the money. in fact i have a set of 12 inch HE2s. that were lightly used that i would be willing to sell cheap.

Cant go wrong with the type r's. Very decent daily sub for the money.

a couple of L5 10'swill get very loud on that power

some atlas 12's would murder the lows in the right box and have really good sq

i have both in stock

or even the 12d4sq square brutus they are only 220 a pair shipped.

maybe find a set of used id or fi if you are lucky.

i could go 350 shipped for a set of L5 12d4 subs if you like them.
