so im thinking about doing a 4-12 sealed, spare tire box in my car. i did it before with some L5's off a zx1500. was really loud. not sure why i got rid of it.

so im looking for some new woofers, but money is tight. i dont wanna spend a whole lot. ill be running them off my zx2500 @ 1 ohm. and im only gonna have about 3.5 feet to work with. so far the crunch gpv12d2's are lookin good to me. 600 watts rms, and only $69 each from sonicelectronix.

anyone have any other suggestions?

i agree, dont waste any money on crunch shit, if ur gonna get an entry level sub go with some kicker comp's, something along those lines, and i also agree one 15 ported in that space would sound better then 3 12's suffocated

With 4 12's in a sealed 3.5 cubic foot box the Qtc of the box is most likely going to be high unless you find some 12's that need less that a cubic foot box each.

You had 4 12'' L5's in a 3.5 cubic foot sealed box ??

The Crunch GPs are awesome woofers, especially with the price.

Eric Alexander tied Tommy McKinney (4x World Champ) in Bassboxing with 24 12" Crunch GPs in a 4th order bandpass. Thing was NASTY loud. I believe it had 6 Crunch 3000GP amps.
