Well seams are hard to hide with vinyl. I would get a 1/4 thick mdf covered with the vinyl and attach it to the sides to hide those seams. Usually when I would build a box I would have a half inch allowence for the sides and round that over and sand it, then get another piece with vinyl on it also and stick in in that slot. Here is a pic of what Im talking about

I know the port is small, it was my first box, and someone else did the math for me.

Also for the corners, you would have wrinkles if you dont use a heat gun. But do not overheat and melt your vynil, just 5 to 8 seconds, about 5" away from the vynil.

you could learn to sew and stitch the corners and make a slip cover for it, then leave 2 edges of it a lil long and seam the vynil in the middle of the bottom of the box

Round II:

Picked up a few technique ideas, so I thought I would give it another shot. Still want to do some things differently, as far as insetting the side, but I will get it figured out.
