they are going into my slot ported box, roughly 3.5 cubes after displacement wiht my he2's so a little less with these, tuned to 34 hertz

Wire the pair to 4 ohms. You will still get decent output. It won't be great but it will work.

i don'tthink that amp is 1 ohm stable. but i agree, don't clip it or else u will blow them oh so beautiful peices of equipment

I wouldnt run a single coil on a DVC sub nor would I run only 1 sub with power with both in. you might damage the coils

Incorrect. Running one coil wont hurt a DVC. Some DVC subs are actually designed to run both, or only one coil, depending on your needs for the driver. Only running one coil will change your t/s specs for the speaker, and hence the box requirements rather severly. ie: your box tuning will be thrown way off.

It wouldn't likely damage the speakers, but you are better off just waiting for the real deal to arrive.
